The Juniper Jacket has officially earned a permanent place in my Valhalla Vest.
Before heading out on a 16-mile run, I packed the jacket down into its own pocket and tossed it into my vest because I wasn’t sure what the weather was going to do. Fortunately for me, it didn’t matter what the forecast had in store , I had the Juniper Jacket ready to go.
For the final four miles of the run, I found myself running through heavy mist and light rain, and the jacket performed exactly how I needed it to. Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to throw on without feeling bulky or restrictive.
What really stands out is how packable it is. It takes up almost no space at all, making it the perfect “peace of mind” piece of gear to always keep with you on longer runs. It’s one of those items you hope you won’t need, but when you do, you’ll be incredibly glad it’s there.
