from 429 reviewsJust wore this doing vo2 max intervals up a mountain in sleet. Mostly dry by the time I got home. Outperforms every jacket I have that is up to 5x the cost.
Read the title. Highest quality, lowest cost. Pretty simple
This is an awesome tech hooded pullover used as a base layer or mid-layer. I have used this for a mid layer for alpine skiing and a base layer for running in sub zero temperatures under my Juniper jacket. This fleece is so soft but also super breathable. I love the height of the neck for wind protection and warmth. This iteration of this hoodie runs long on the sleeves. I just roll the up once when I’m not using the thumb loops. The PRICE on this hoodie is unmatchable and there is zero reason to go spending 150 more dollars on other brands! Amazing piece of gear needed in your quiver!
Coming from Paragonia Strider Pro and Brooks Sherpa shorts for the last five years, I thought I'd try these. They're light weight, breath well, have good storage (including holding a regular-sized iPhone), and are extremely comfortable. Great liner, too. I'm 175lb with a 33" waist and the mediums are lovely. I haven't gone long in these yet, but am regularly running half-marathon distances in them and have no concerns. These are now my go-to shorts even before taking into account the value.
Similar fit and fabric to Patagonia Capilene Lightweight shirts that I have. The material has nice drape and breathes well. Compared to those more expensive shirts, the Trail Tee is missing a couple of refinements: flat-lock stitching and seams that are offset from the top of the shoulder. I haven't noticed any chafing caused by these differences, so getting 2-3 of these shirts for the cost of one of the comps is a no-brainer.
These have immediately become my favorite running shorts. The fit great, the material is light and loose, and the pockets keep gels, keys, etc. snuggly packed away with no bounce. Combined with all this is their unbeatable price.
I love what this company is doing. Great gear at reasonable prices. Keep doing what you're doing.
Hello, I think I will like the shorts but I want to exchange for a larger size for comfort but so far no one has responded to my email. I’ll give a real review once I get an exchange.
Update: super quick response to this review. Looking forward to getting the new size and trying them out.
Honestly, greatest shorts on the market. These are durable, fit everything you could want for the trail, and they don’t ride. I will buy only these shorts.
This jacket is amazing. I have worn it in -22 F with wind chill where it completely blocked out the wind and I was warm with just a base layer on underneath. Incredibly breathable with warmer temps and my go to jacket for every run, windy or not. Perfect travel jacket with it being able to pack up so easily, I take it everywhere I go! This jacket is above the rest and would easily cost you over 2-3x from other brands. Alex is making premium products at a price that everyone can afford!
Great quality. Shirts run a bit small, but no big deal. Keep it up Team!
I love the design of these shorts so I can carry gels, etc on runs without needing a separate belt, and they are much more reasonably priced than most running shorts from other companies! Haven't used them enough to comment on quality/durability but they seem well made even though they are lightweight
Wow, just wow. These shorts are the last shorts you'll ever need. They will make you question needing a vest or a belt. Holds phone and 500ml flask full without bouncing, plenty of room for snacks, car key/fob securely. The price point is cheaper than some hats... The last few years I have been avoiding a vest, now I will be avoiding using my belt. The liner feels non existent and the material is so light and breathable. I am so stoked to have these and run in them all summer long!
I ordered a pair of women's small shorts (5'4, 135lb) and they have become my favorite running shorts. The best feature is the rear open pocket which carries my Google Pixel phone (for size reference). I can leave my keys in the front waist pocket. For long runs there's plenty of other pockets to carry fuel. And the rear zipper pocket and safely store an ID and other essential cards. Love, love, love these.
Love these shorts and plan on running a ton in them. My suggestion is to adjust the pockets. I run with a 500 ml soft flask that came with my Salomon vest and it doesn’t fit easily. I really have to cram it in there. Also, the rear pocket doesn’t hold a phone. I just slot it in the non zippered pocket in front of the zip pocket. It held ok running 5 miles on the road. Would be nervous of it popping out on a trail run that’s a bit more bumpy.
Wouldn’t hate normal pockets and a boxer brief style liner option in the future!
Excited about these!! Still a 5 star review bc of the price point and comfort!
